Kingsford Smith green heroes

The Bowen Library’s Summer Reading Club did something by committing to planting 1 tree for every 10 books they read. The children read an impressive 1143 books and have planted their first 75 trees in Anzac Parade near the Library with a further 39 still to be planted. The library is so impressed with the children they have developed a new program called the Eco-Heroes Club.
I would like to hear about and acknowledge the environmental initiatives of households, community or sporting groups, schools and businesses in my electorate.
