28 May, Lowy Cancer Research Centre opens at UNSW
The
aim of the researchers at the Lowy Cancer Research Centre is to learn
how adult and childhood cancers develop, and discover treatments to
save lives.
The centre was officially opened by Prime
Minister Kevin Rudd and Premier Kristina Keneally. I was pleased to
attend the opening and acknowledge the generous donation of Frank Lowy
towards this fantastic research facility.
