For the third year, I attended a voice masterclass with first-year acting students at NIDA. The masterclass covers pitch, phrasing and performance. The songs we worked on were "I'll stand by you" and "Hey Jude".
NIDA is one of seven national performing arts training organisations, funded through the Department of Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts. In 2010/11 the Commonwealth Government is providing $6.7 million for the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA).
