NAIDOC Week

NAIDOC Week is a week when
the nation recognises and celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
culture and I was pleased to attend a number of events around the nation
including two in Kingsford Smith.

At the Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick, young Indigenous
dancers entertained invited guests and passers-by.
At Yarra Bay House, I
presented the La Perouse Aboriginal Land Council with a print of "The Apology
Manuscript" which has the text of the motion put the Federal Parliament on 13
February 2008.
